Living with chronic kidney disease and undergoing dialysis can take a heavy toll on a patient’s mental health. At MMDC, we recognize that healing is not only physical but also emotional. That’s why we offer Psychological Rehabilitation Sessions — a vital support service designed to care for the emotional and mental well-being of our patients and their caregivers.

- Free Psychological Counseling Patients and their families receive individual or group counseling sessions conducted by trained psychologists or counselors.
- CKD-Focused Mental Health Support Sessions are tailored for dialysis and kidney failure patients, addressing fear, sadness, hopelessness, and quality-of-life concerns.
- Grief and Acceptance Therapy Helps patients accept their condition, manage grief, and find strength in faith, purpose, and family support.
- Stress and Anxiety Management Techniques Relaxation exercises, guided breathing, and coping strategies are introduced in simple, easy-to-practice ways.
- Caregiver Support Special sessions for family members and caregivers to manage emotional exhaustion, stress, and family dynamics.
- Faith-Based Counseling (on request) For patients seeking spiritual healing, faith-sensitive psychological support is available upon request.
- Integration with Medical Care Counselors work alongside doctors and nutritionists for holistic patient care.
- Group Support Circles Patients can share their experiences in guided group discussions, fostering empathy, strength, and connection.
