🔴 Why It’s Needed
- Chronic kidney disease is rising rapidly in Pakistan — especially among the poor. Hemodialysis is a life-saving treatment, but it comes at a high cost: Rs. 8,000 per session, with most patients needing 2–3 sessions per week.
- For thousands of Zakat-eligible individuals, this cost is simply out of reach. Many patients miss or delay dialysis due to poverty — putting their lives at serious risk. MMDC is here to change that.
