Patient Welfare Society - Taking care of other needs of life along with treatment

The journey of kidney disease is not limited to hospital and treatment. Many patients belong to families where treatment, food, travel and daily necessities along with the disease also become a big challenge. Dialysis patients in particular need transportation to reach the center repeatedly, while medicines, tests and basic household expenses can also put an additional burden on the family. In such situations, the patient needs not only medical facilities but also human and social support.

The Patient Welfare Society of Al Makki Al Madni Dialysis Center provides support keeping in mind these additional needs of needy patients and their families. Under this, various facilities including free ration, transportation, necessary tests and medicines are provided to deserving patients. Its aim is to reduce the financial and daily life problems arising from the patient’s illness as much as possible.

For us, service is not just about providing treatment. If a patient is receiving dialysis for free but does not have the money to go back home, cannot afford to buy essential medicines or does not have basic rations for the home, then his or her difficulties do not end. Patient Welfare Society works with the same mindset that the patient should be seen as a complete human being and, wherever possible, should be supported in his or her basic needs along with his or her treatment. The aim of providing all these services free of charge at Al Makki Al Madni Dialysis Center is to put humanity, service and hope into practice.
