The Diabetes Centre (TDC) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated in preventing and treating diabetes. As the first state-of-the-art diabetes hospital in Pakistan, TDC is the manifestation of the dedication and hard work of overseas Pakistani professionals and our generous donors.
TDC is currently operating as a full fledge hospital in Islamabad, along with spoke clinics. A one stop clinic of TDC is also operating in Lahore. Working on Hub & Spoke model TDC Sahiwal is underway while other projects across country are under planning.
With the help of our Donors and supporters, TDC is currently offering state of the art services including Clinical laboratories, Eye care Clinic, Specialized Foot care clinic, Kidney care, Diabetes Education and Awareness clinic along with Pharmacy services to the deserving patients who cannot afford their treatment cost.
Furthermore, yearly Zakat and other Donations from generous individuals like you allow us to support more deserving families in Pakistan. As a lot of people are unable to fast in the Holy month of Ramadan due to illness and some of them are not able to bear their medical expenses therefore look for support. Fidyaa is a platform Allah Almighty has given us to make our Akhrat beautiful. As Allah Almighty has provided a way in the Holy Quran.
Al- Quran !
“(The prescribed fast is for) a certain number of days. Whoever among you does not fast on those days because you are sick or on a journey, then (you should fast) the same number of days on other days. Those who are able to fast are also required to pay a fee (which is equivalent to the cost) of feeding a desperate person.
” (Al-Baqarah /The Cow 2:184)
أَيَّامًا مَعْدُودَاتٍ فَمَنْ كَانَ مِنْكُمْ مَرِيضًا أَوْ عَلَى سَفَرٍ فَعِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَيَّامٍ أُخَرَ وَعَلَى الَّذِينَ يُطِيقُونَهُ فِدْيَةٌ طَعَامُ مِسْكِينٍ فَمَنْ تَطَوَّعَ خَيْرًا فَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَهُ وَأَنْ تَصُومُوا خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ
Their Fidyaa will be considered as charity and they must makeup for the days they missed their fasts. The Diabetes Centre is providing you a platform where you can help deserving people with their health. We request you to contribute your Fidyaa for the underprivileged diabetes patients who cannot afford the cost of their treatment and are the bread earner of the family. Your contributions will make a significant impact on thousands of households.
